This was always going to be the perfect point and shoot and seems that way from the review. From experience of the FZ3, anyone in the market for such a machine will not go wrong investing in this. Personally, there is no point getting anything else in between this and a DSLR. I'll be tempted to get one as a developing world town and city carry around: be cheaper than a Canon 28-135 IS, I'll probably take more shots with it, and less risk of getting mugged. My ex-wife has the FX3 and loves it so much she's now looking at getting a DSLR too!!
