sorry if posted in wrong place.

just something i was just wondering...my old ps3 console has no problem connecting wirelessly to my panasonic freeview recorder and copying shows to the ps3 hard drive but i am having problems trying to do this on a windows computer.

is it possible to transfer recorded shows from a panasonic dmr hwt250 freeview recorder to a computer or is this blocked?

thanks

Were you able to transfer those recordings off the PS3 to USB HDD and play them on anything else ?

Panasonic were known for using DRM on their recorders and only compatible devices that supported the DRM could access and play the video (windows does not).

ah, that's a shame. like you said, probably transferring from the ps3 to pc is the easiest option.

Yes it should be.
Make sure you have DNLA enabled for server mode on the Pannypage 47 of manual.
On your PC goto My Computer and you should see the HWT listed. Select it and open it up in file explorer, then navigate to the recording(s) that you want, right click and copy then paste to the PC.
