I'm kicking myself now for not buying it when it was £399. now that its gone past £400 the extended warranty also costs more grrrr. Anyone any experience of RS pricematch ie will they pricematch online prices as well as store prices.

Bought mine from richer last saturday! phoned them first to make sure they had one in stock, and asked if i could have one at the old price of £399!! The nice guy said that he would meet me at half-way at £425  Went to collect it and they also threw in two free DVD-Rs and one DVD-RAM :D
    Well impressed with richer sounds.

I was fortunate to get mine from RS for £399, the extended warranty appears to remain the same at £59.95.

Yes.. RS will match other cheaper on-line prices, you can also get a extra tenna off, but you have to ask for it (Beat other prices by £10)

I paid RS £29-95 for my old Philips-DVDR75 warranty which I have not used, so I will be claiming that back from them when it expires, assuming it keeps going that is. I assume they charge more mainly to cover units with h/drives etc. Still a good deal... If you dont use it, you get your money back. :D

Yes, they will price match on-line prices, provided you've got the retailer's telephone number so they can check that it's in stock & it's a multi-region model.

Richer Sounds will sell it for £10 cheaper than the on-line price once the above is confirmed.
