Wonder if anyone can help - my first post!

Was given one of thsse by my girlfriend on sunday and last night after setting it up and changing the settings i can longer get a picture on my TV.

I changed some of the AV settings on the player and now the TV doesnt seem to pick up any of the signals. All the scarts etc are properly connected as well.

Just wondering if its possible to do a hard reset of the system to get it back to the factory settings? Tried unplugging it but the blasted thing keeps it memory!!

You can get the set back to its "factory default" settings but you need to be able to see the menus to do this!

Is the AV1 scart on the E55 connected to AV1 (or "External 1") of the TV?
Then switching the TV to AV should let you see something.

Failing this, make sure the UHF output from the E55 is connected to the aerial input of the television. Select an unused channel on the TV and try to tune it in to the E55.

    Good Luck :)

As sugested connect the ariel cable up to the TV so you can see the menus. You prob set the AV1 out from Normal to Decoder.

Just looked at the manual and you should also be able to get video out from the AV2 scart on the E55.
