Panasonic E55 - £249

I know a few people have already expressed an interest in ordering the Panasonic E55 so you may be interested that Panasonic offering it for £249:

I should think you'll be able to get it slightly cheaper (and multi-region) if you hang on a month or so but I'd thought I'd pass it on.

Its an extra £20 for multi-region at AV Sales.

I'm thinking of buying a Panny DVD recorder, mainly for archiving from my Freeview box.
Would you recommend the E50/55 or the E60? I like the idea of DV input but for an extra £100!
Will any of the accept MP3 on DVD?
