I had this happen once on a Panny E20, kept holding the eject button in and it eventually opened.

    Hi
Can anyone tell me what to do to force the panny E50 recorder to eject when a disc fails to record.
I get the recover message on the machine then I press eject, The display say open then about 5 secs later it say close ( without actually doing either)
I tried turning power off and leaving a minute.
I emailed panasonic and am still waiting for them to reply.
