Panasonic e-55 and toshiba dr-1

Well the panny e-55 will be out soon and i was wondering how it compared to the dr-1 on paper.

The lack of an rgb input on the tosh really put me off, So i thought i would wait for a price for the e-55 and e-65 both with rgb in. As of yet no price for the e-65, but the e-55 is well priced.

What are the pros and cons between the two recorders?

should i wait for the e-65?

Based on the e-55 any predictions as for the price of the e-65?

It's the same situation as choosing between the E50 and E60. Do you want iLink (are you likely to get/have you got a digital camera?)? Do you want the PC Card slot (are you likely to want to use a digital camera with the DVDR)? If the answers to either of these are yes then wait for the E65 - although I'm prepared to bet this model won't be available for 4 or 5 months (in the same way the E60 followed someway behind the E50).

Just a guess but you can probably add another £50 onto the E55 price.
