    Hi,

So far I was very satisfied with my panasonic DVD until yesterday. He started show hick ups. He plays a bit then stops so the images freeze and then starts again, then stops again and starts playing again.

Has someone experienced this before me and is there a cure for it? The warranty is expired. Maybe the laser is broken?

    Thanks,

    Dirk

    Hi

Could be the laser. Have you tried a dvd cleaner?? Might be worth a try.:)

    Thanks for the reply.

When he has this hick-up I hear a sound from within my DVD like it's got holded up by something.

    Very strange.

Is the DVD cleaner expensive and does it work?

    Thanks,

    Dirk
