Where is the best/cheapest place to get genuine Panasonic DVD Ram Discs from??
£11.99 pack of 5
Argos do the Panasonic 5 pack in slim jewel cases for 12.99 (534/3913)
IIRC from when I bought my bunch Costco about half that price for genuine Panasonic ones.
They were doubled up - two five packs in one so I bought two of those as they were so cheap.
Anyone spotted the price in a recent visit ?
Pack of 5 for £10 inc delivery from KKelectroincs http://www.kkelectronics.co.uk/View...5&Prod_name=4.7GB DVD-RAM Blank Disc - 5 Pack
John Lewis are doing the Panasonic 5 pack in store for about £12.
Where is the cheapest for double sided Rams in caddy's
£19.98 for a pack of 10 from PC World of all places, I shopped around & this was the best price I could find
That is a bargain!!! Just ordered some.
I purchased that pack last week with my new recorder.
Bloody DVD-Ram dosn`t work with my PC.
@ LazenbyADT I had the same probs with my pc so bought the LG GSA-4163BA 16x16 DVD±RW Dual Layer ReWriter from http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/DVD_RW_Drives.html.
Plays all formats and only £35 well worth it.
Got a couple of Panasonic 9.4gb double sided in caddy
for £5 each + postage from here
Thanks Jools. Postage looks reasonable too
I think including vat they are still about 12.99 for 10 (2x5). I got a friend to get me some as I'm not legeble for membership.
Maybe If I got a lot I could sell em on ebay for a profit
£30.54 inc. VAT from Ebuyer !
Don't like jumping on the bandwagon but....
Just bought the LG 4163B from svp.co.uk where I get all of my DVD's and cases.
£ 29.97 inc VAT.
They are fantastic, a genuine "want to help the consumer" company. And if you sign up to their newsletter and wait a few days, you nearly always get an email with a special code in it for like 5% off the prices, or like £3 of shipping etc.
Superb! (And I'm no agent for them either! Just used them so many times.)
I have bought several 2x5-packs on eBay in the past. I guess the sellers buy them at Costco. They were supplied as two 5-packs shrink-wrapped side by side. Is that how Costco supply them?
They worked out slightly cheaper when you take p&p into account than Panasonic's eShop 10-pack price. But I discovered later that one disc had a surface fault, so I reverted to buying 10-packs from the eShop, several packs at a time to spread the p&p. (Yes, I know it's a lot of ram discs. I use them like video tapes. I can't be bothered with editing onto dvd-r.)
The best non-Costco prices I've seen were the two for the price of one offers at Argos and the Dixons group last winter, which worked out at £15 for 10. I wish I'd bought more while I could. Let's hope the July sales bring some more offers, or, better still, that Panasonic reduce their eShop prices soon.
Meanwhile I will need some more soon and that's the same as the eShop price before p&p is added, so I must check the local PC World store next time I'm near.
I can check when I go tomorrow - I did buy some a while back. Panasonic 2x5, I think they worked out around £1 a disc, but I'll make sure.
I bought a 10 pack of Panasonic Single Sided from my local Panasonic shop in Exeter for £19.99. Check the prices of them at your local Shop @ Panasonic or Panasonic eShop Online.
