I'm not sure which model my mate has, it could be the Panny Ex75 or the Ex77. It's connected via HDMI to a Samsung LCD TV and all is well except if he fast forwards the playback on the recorder and then presses play then it switches to HDMI2 and gives a no signal message. He has to manually switch it over to HDMI1.

    Hi John.

I don't have a ready remedy for this issue yet, but you may be interested in this current thread which has exactly the same problem , albeit with a different set.... and in that case it is a Panasonic TV.

    See: http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=683993

Do you know if the Samsung supports HDAVI control 2?

These problems seem to reside in the way the interface is initialised ... but as you will see in the other thread , the User is having difficulty getting it to RE-initialise.
