    Hi all!

In my quest for Sky, I've just recieved a Panasonic DSB 30 digibox. I've
connected it to the mains, and the red diode next to power on the front,
    lights up!

However, It doesn't go beyond that. I can't turn it on, nothing happens!

It doesnt matter if I use the remote, or the front panel. If I use the remote,
nothing indicates on the front panel either....

    Anything special I should do?

    Thanks again,

    Nicholas

It'a a common fault on this box with a 101 conspiracy theories as to why it happens. My parents' box died with this symptom during a thunderstorm. Can be repaired at around the same cost as a 2nd hand box so probably not worth it. Have a look here & you may find more info.

Heat, the micro will be knackered.

    Beyond economic repair.

The conspiracy theories are cr*p.
