I have a Panasonic DMRES10 and I wondered if anyone has experienced problems with different makes of DVD-RW's?

What make/speed of DVD-RWs are you trying? I have no problems with 2x TDK scratchproof DVD-RWs but I haven't trialled other speeds yet.

The problem ones are: Imation 4x, especially when using flexible recording (I thought at the time these were a good make) . I have also bought TDK 4x with no problems so far.

Just thought that I may have purchased a bad batch if no-one else is having problems.

Imation are the only ones I've used in mine and they have all worked perfectly, including one that a LG Recorder said was unreadable.

Do they work when you use flexible recording as well?

    That shouldn't make any difference.

Yes, I've used them for everything that they can be used for with this model and they work perfectly.

Most of the Imation disks I've tested more often than not fail on Flexible recording or when I record on Long Play. It sounds as though I may have a bad batch of disks rather than it being the machine. As previously stated the TDK's work fine at the moment!
