It's worth getting the dealer to double-check the model number as there are 2 60's and it would seem that they are often confused. The DMR-EH60 does have dv-in, but only has an analogue tuner. The DMR-EH60D has a Freeview tuner as well as analogue, but all reports of the spec so far have shown that this model doesn't have dv-in. I would be great if it has, but most information up until now has been confirming our worst fears...

    Hi, Gobstopper

Have just been to my local panasonic shop and can indeed confirm that the dmr-eh60d has the dv-in (it is behind the pull down flap on the front panel and located to the left). Good old panasonic for at last getting it right

Has anyone been able to confirm that the iLink socket isn't just a blank?

Well, I can't find any DMR-EH60D's in any UK shops at the moment. The manual is not listed on Panasonic UK web site and no web site states it has i-link. They all quote the blurb from the Panasonic web site which doesn't confirm the existence of i-link.

I can't even find a picture on any web site of the front panel sockets to confirm the existence of an i-link input.

I think some people are getting confused with the DMR-EH60 and stating the DMR-EH60D has i-link when it might well not.

I've deicded to hang on until I can see the unit in action and be 100% sure it has i-link before buying.

It's about time Panasonic displayed a front and rear picture of their machines on their website. How hard can that be :thumbsdow

The EH60D has definitely got an i-link socket. I can see it on mine and it is included in the manual as to how to use it!
