Panasonic DMRE85H problem HELP!

My Panasonic DMRE85H will not power up. I get a message " An error has occured" I press the enter key to escape and it gives me the message "change the disc" but I cannot eject the DVD and it goes back to the 1st error message again. I am just going round and round between both error messages.

Plaese any advice?

After trying to reset I get a display in the window "Test * L1" and I cannot get any thing to function.
