    Hi All,

Has anyone here purchased the PANASONIC DMRE75VEBS. I need to know if it is simple enough to use for a novice to copying VHS to DVD, and is the quality any good.

    Many thanks

    Tom

You'll find the E75 easy enough to use: it's an excellent DVD recorder coupled with an above average VHS recorder (to be honest as there is no money left in VHS it is almost impossible to get an excellent model these days :( ). Dubbing between VHS and DVD is easy and you won't have any problems. Note though that if you want to copy commercial VHS tapes then you should avoid this machine as it won't copy protected material: if you want to go that way consider seperates, e.g. a Panasonic E55 and JVC/Panasonic VCR (the best two makes of VCR at present).
