Is it possible to connect a Virgin Media Tivo box to my DVD recorder so that I can record content directly onto my Panasonic Hard drive instead of recording onto the Tivo box THEN recording from the Tivo box to my Panasonic THEN recording from the Panasonic hard drive to DVD? If it is, How do I make the connections?

    Welcome to the forum.

    I doubt this is possible.

It is conventional that boxes of this nature ( such as the Tivo) which are recorders themselves, do not provide any output when they are performing timed recordings so there is nothing available for an external recorder to be able to record.

Just my luck! I'll have to do it the long way round (as described in my post). Thanks for the swift reply.
