Hello,

I have a Panasonic DMR-PWT655 and from last night the YouTube app seems to have stopped working. It loads from Function Menu > Network Service but then I just get the YouTube logo and it won't go any further.

Other apps, such as Netflix still seem to be working and I have checked and reset the network connection, which also seems to be fine.

Is there anything I can do to get this working, or is this a case of the app 'expiring'? I don't really want to replace the machine as all other functions work perfectly.

Thanks for any advice.

Leave the unit without power for at least 20 minutes to empty all memory buffers then try again.

Good luck.

( Full mains disconnection)

Left the machine unplugged for a couple of hours and the YouTube app is now working. Thanks very much for that. What causes this issue, then?

Good.

Any kind of data corruption can cause such problems. Buffers can get clogged with data that cannot be shifted.

The above action also applies a power reset to the main processor - which will clear any potentially stuck parameters.
