Hello New Member asking his first question..After posting this problem/queery on a a couple of specialised forums Windows7 and Panasonic digital veiw,I have been unsuccesful in finding an answer so I thought I would ask on here ..

Can any one throw some light on why I cannot watch my Panasonic HD freeview recordings on Windows Media Player version 12.WMP picks up the fact that the PVR is there and the recorded programmes are loaded but when I select play nothing yet the same programme recorded in Standard Definition is playable,My computer as an Intel (R) HD graphics card and is fitted out for HD so to my way of thinking there should be no problem but they just don't play,I thought it may be a codec problem but I have downloaded Media Player Codec pack 4.3.5 thinking that would help but No,so I'm at a brick wall. Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum.

I'm afraid that it is a deliberate restriction not to allow HD titles to play over DLNA.
This is a limitation imposed by Film Industry interests.

See DTCP-IP

Also see pages 61 and 62 of your manual. Also see additional limitations on Page 86 column B.

Finally see the last icon on Page 36.
