Panasonic DMR-HW 120 Network Connection Help Wanted

Hi,

I've been trying to connect using a cable from a Technicolor TG582n router (Plusnet).

Easy network set up fails whether settings are left in auto-detect or turned off.

Panasonic tech support referred me to a web page of combinations they had found to work, but Plusnet (ISP) and this router are not among them.

Logging in to the router, it is clear that the router can see the DMR, but no IP address is assigned. The router offers me three options for network devices but I'm unsure which to use, and how to use them. There does not seem to be any manual for the router online.

Can anyone advise how to proceed please?

Many thanks!

This is your manual.

Find out what range of IP addresses your router is using.
Choose a free address within that range and manually setup the PVR with this address.
Ensure you don't have MAC address filtering enabled on the router.
Check the lights on the router port to ensure you have a good connection
