I see this model only got 3 out 5 stars in a review in what hi-fi...Has anyone
got one of these models and how do they rate it...thanks

I don't have one myself, but I've encountered many who do.

They all speak highly of it. It appears universally liked . I've not known any user be disappointed with it.

I had pointed out that independent testing had shown that the VCR section was not as good at making transfers as separates were... but in practice, the users seem to have found that the benefits and convenience of such an 'all in one' solution far outweigh that drawback... if it can be perceived at all.

I have an DMR-EX95EVBS and I can agree the only slightly disappointing feature is the VCR component. It's not bad, just could be better. Everything else is superb. Recommended.
