Panasonic DMR-EX77EB-K Sound Issue, which board to replace?

Novice Member

I've just acquired a Panasonic DMR-EX7EB-K recorder with garbled sound on new recordings and live tv. I believe after reading other posts on here that the IC3001 chip is to blame. Instead of replacing the chip - beyond my skills - I was looking to replace one of the logic boards. I've struggled to identify the chip on any of the boards, so I need to know which board contains it please.

Am I right in thinking this (click here) is the board I should buy? Should this fix the sound issue?

Thanks in advance! Ben.

Welcome to the forum.

Unfortunately no - that is not the board.

It is on the underside of the main board - the one that occupies the whole base of the machine.
