Panasonic Dmr EX75 Hdd Error

    hi guys,
    i have a PANASONIC DMR EX 75 which when turned on pops oren the drawer & shows "HDD ERROR"
    can it be reset or does it need a to go to a shop ?
    please help as i love this machine !!

    I'm afraid this is non-recoverable and will need to go for service.

    where is the best place to take it ? i got it from the panasonic shop, but it may be expensive to service there ??

    A Panasonic agent is the best place for it to go... It may require the software to be reinstalled at the least - and a new hard disc or worse.

    Hi I realise that i'm posting way after the original post but my DMR EX 75 has developed the same problem.

    Will replacing the Hard Drive fix the problem.

    The machine is ancient now and not worth taking for repair
