I have just copied some vhs tapes to three dvd's with a Panasonic DMR-ES10, the dvd's play and look great on tv, but when played on my PC, you can see a line right across the bottom of the picture, it's like a thin mirror effect, all three dvd's are the same, I'm using PowerDVD, and BSplayer Pro to play them.

Has anyone experienced this or any info on this problem?

    Thanks

    Hi there
On a PC monitor screen you do not have the same amount of overscan that you would normally have on a TV.
What you are probably seeing is the VCR head "switching point".

Thanks for your reply Alan, it explains the problem alright, it's still a very annoying problem, I don't recall anyone else asking about it, it can't be just me
