    Hi,

Just bought a Panasonic DMR ES10 and I must say I'm impressed with the quality. But as it's my 1st DVD recorder Ive go nothing to compair it with.

Just wondering will my machine be able to use the double sided 9.4 Gb RAM disks? And I take it that it would have to be removed from it's cartridge.

And can you record to both sides of the disk without turning it?
Sorry if it's a daft question, but it's not much good if it needs turing half way through a film recording at SP setting.

    Thanks Novac

Yes, it can use double-sided RAM discs.. no need to remove it from cartridge. However, you WILL have to turn it over after approx 2 hours recording at SP.

    Thanks Ben,

    Thats bad news.
I was thinking of using a double sided disk while away, giving 4 hrs at SP setting.
Looks like I'll have to reduce the setting to LP.

The GOOD news is youve just saved me some money
