Panasonic DMR-EH60 is region 2 i put a region 1 disc and it says unsupported tv syste

    unsupported tv system i went into the players menue and changed to ntsc
    and it played region 1 disc is this correct or will it do any damage to machine or tele

    is this correct as it playes region 1 no problems if i do this

    Won't do any harm.

    Not all R1 discs are actually R1 only. Some odd ones are dual coded for the Japanese market which is R2, NTSC. Some are region free.

    if you bought a region 2 dvd panasonic dmreh60 dvd recorder would you send back and get a multiregion one

    Unless you ordered a multiregion version, this isn't grounds for a refund or replacement.

    The answer is that, really, you should always have a MR machine. You may be able to get yours modified (if it needs it). Try http://www.dvdchips.co.uk/
