Panasonic DMR-E100H question

    Does this panosonic recorder read dual layer DVD's, infact do all standalone units read them.

    do you mean pre-recorded? or discs recorded on other dvd burners? Assuming you mean the latter, possibly not, unless the recorded disc behaves in the same way as a pre-recorded dual layered disc. :confused:

    I wondered if a dual layer disc burnt on a LG GSA-4120B could be read by the Panasonic 100?

    I have burnt a number of DVD+R DL on the LG4120 (Verbatim mostly but also some Traxdata) and they all play successfully on Panasonic DVD Recorders. Early days yet but compatibility of DVD+R DL seems quite good - certainly better than DVD+RW/+R.
