Sorry if this has been asked a million times before I searched but only found really old threads.

I have Panasonic DMP-UB900 4K Player. At the moment I only have UK 4K movies but I have a lot of standard Blurays/DVD's from the US.

What are my options for making this Multi-Region? Ideally I'd like everything Multi-Region but if not being able to play be old stuff would be handy.

Something simple would be great. I remember buying a gadget for my old player that had an infrared transmitter on it which you used once to update the firmware or whatever it did.

    Thanks :)

You can easily make multi region for DVD by using a remote hack. Sold on ebay for around £14
Panasonic DVD / Blu-ray player multi-region hack remote | eBay
This lists as compatible with the UB900.

    Or read
Panasonic DVD players region free hack now available
    and
Panasonic DVD players region free hack - Part 2

You can also use for DVD, if I remember correctly, All for One remotes programmed with the code sequence. Or Harmony remotes Harmony Remote Multiregion DVD Hack for Panasonic, Pioneer & Sony Blu-ray's Part 3

Blu-ray multi region is only possible using hacked firmware.
    See above

Thank you, that looks like the gadget I used many years ago. At least I'll be able to watch my DVDs which are mostly US versions.
