panasonic dmp bd77 dts hd master audio issue

hi there the problem i have is i cant play lossless audio through my amp with the panasonic. on my ps3 i have no problem getting the dts mster audio or the dolby true hd symbles to light up but no such joy from the panasonic. i put my gladiator bluray into ps3 and the dts master symble lights up on my onkyo sr605 amp. when i try the same with the panasonic on either bitstream or pcm modes all i get are the dsp modes like neo 6 with a small dts icon or dolby pro logic 2 etc. i cant realy take too much notice of the dts icon as this also lights up when the panasonic netflix app is on which outputs with dolby digital + so im at a loss on how to figure this out if anyone has any ideas tha would be great
