Short answer - Yes.
Long answer - available formats for HMDI are "Automatic", 576p/480p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p. For component 576i/480i, 576p/480p, 720p and 1080i.

Hi thx for the reply deckingman, so to clarify i would not be able to manually set the BD60 to output 1080i60?

Sorry, I'm a bit confused. Is 1080i60 different from the 1080i which is listed in the manual. I'm assuming the manual refers to 1080i 60 as I though this was "normal". There is no mention of 60 (just the option to set 24p).

Or, maybe I wasn't clear. The HDMI options I gave are all manual settings plus "automatic" where the unit will decide what is best for the TV.
