I am looking for a Panasonic Blu-Ray recorder with both RGB input and DLNA access to recordings on the HDD.

As far as I am aware this includes the following models:

    DMR-BW880 and BW780
    DMR-BS880 and BS780
    DMR-BWT800 (but not the BWT700).

Are there any other UK models with these features? Are there any European models I should look out for?

    Many thanks for your help.

The 880 / 780 does have RGB input but DLNA is only server mode capable - not client.
It is almost certainly the same for the BS versions.

I'll need to check but the BWT versions and all models since have abandoned RGB in... but probably have client AND server mode DLNA ( Needs checking for complete confirmation.)

I do not recommend trying the European machine approach.

I've checked further - Correction and confirmation - As you say , the BWT800 has RGB, but not the 700. It does have client and server DLNA

Thanks for the quick reply. The reason I want DLNA is to access the HDD via XMBC/Kodi to transfer SD recordings to my computer, I'm not too concerned about client features.

I want RGB for transferring Tivo recordings and some VHS home recordings.

Are there reasons for avoiding European machines in this case?
