I've had a Panasonoc TX28DT4C, the one with the built-in Freeview receiver, for a few months, and I'm very pleased with it. But when I'm tuned to AV1 or AV2 I can't get rid of the input/channel indicator at the top left-hand corner of the screen. It wasn't there at first, and I haven't changed any settings.
Can it be removed? It also doesn't show on DVB channels, but does on Nicam.

    Hi,
I could be wrong here but on my older Panasonic tv if you press the button just below and to the left of the channel and volume up down buttons on the remote it displays the channel information which remains onscreen until you press the button again.

I have just checked and apparently for the av channels this is remembered even when the tv has been switched off and on again.

So just try selecting one of the av channels then press this button

On the remote its the button with a picture of a tv screen with a little cross in the right hand side off it

    Hope this helps
