    http://www.go2camcorder.co.uk/frameindex.asp?og=Vision;

it gets better and better, this was highlight by Hlyer on another thread, but at that price deserves to have a thread of its own.

you can even have an extra 1 years warranty for £50 making it still only £1400

    Delivered in 3 days also

now will it come down in price anymore?, im still holding off....................just!

Is the AE300 better than the Sanyo Z1

I did consider opening a new thread for this remarkable development, but since I spend a lot of time at the DVD forums I'm terrified my threads will be closed :D

Since you've opened this thread, let me just say  :smashin:   :D , etc.

Has anybody contacted them about pixel checks?

    This is killing me...

It's difficult to know when to buy the damn thing!!!

Tomorrow someone will be selling it £100 cheaper again!!!

    When will it's price stablise???

Does this mean the AE200 is now worth £850???!!!

If it does you have to feel sorry for people who bought the seriously unreliable AE100 for £799 or whatever its been going for lately :D

The GO2CAMCORDER price of £1350 had already been mentioned on the 'AE300 diehards' thread!

Anybody thinking of buying from them might want to do a search on this forum for their name. Its hard to find a person who has anything good to say about them.

I have heard people buying products from go2camcorder, and they were perfectly satisfied with their service.

    Very tempting at this price:eek:

Something to also point out to all the inevitable comparions
between this and the Sony HS-10 - is that the Sony is now 50%
more expensive than the AE300 at this price!

The £30 shipping charge Go3Camcorder charges sours the deal somewhat though.

EDIT: Just had a reply email from them, it IS indeed the PTAE300E (with the "E" on the end) they are selling with the SCART socket on the rear.

    Hi,
I ordered two PT AE300`s from komplett on Friday for £1436.19 inc. delivery (each).

Luckily for me they messed the order up and its not showing on there system. I say lucky because I have now ordered two from go2camcorder at £1350 + £50 (extended warrenty) + £35 P+P each. So saved £1.19 and get extra 1year warrenty.

These units are UK spec imports and take 5 working days to arrive.

If I have any snaggs I will post here.

The Go2Camcorder price is very tempting Jack. I hope you have no problems with them, and it will be interesting to hear you report back when you receive them.
One thing that I found strange is that theyre an internet based company whos ordering system isnt even secure! :nono:
    Wheres the little padlock!!!?

    Hi Hylnur,

I got messed about a bit by Go2Camcorder. 5 days came and went so I phoned a few times and basically they didn`t know when they were going to come into stock, so I cancelled the order.

I then managed to get 1 (I needed 2) from Crampton & Moore in Sheffield. This had a dead green pixel and so went back (good customer service no questions asked). They had no others in stock and didnt know when others were going to arrive,

So........... I ordered 2 from Komplett.co.uk and recieved them next day and both are fine after 1 weeks veiwing.

My advice is get them from someone who has them in stock. Most places say they can get them in a couple of days or so. My experience so far suggets not. I think its worth getting one even if it cost you a few quid more. At least you will be enjoying yours whilst you could be waiting.

I too am beginning to think that theres a lot to be said in getting one from some one whose got one in stock. Ive had a 2011 on order for ages and the 300 (£1319inc vat, delivered, or not so far, uk spec) looks as if its going the same way. Im off on my hols soon so if its not sorted when I get back I might just cancel both orders and rethink my approach.

Thanks for the offer. I popped down to tunbridge for the AV demo the other week and thought it looked pretty good, excellent for the money but the poor availability and pixcel issues do concern me. Im on holiday end of this week so I will review the situation when I get back. It would be good to see your set up when I get back though, might get some ideas. I might even have my my vavle amps fixed by then too and you could pop over and here what a 10 watt av set up sounds like !!! Loud enough ? The nieghbours complained so much they moved ( or was that because they lost their jobs - never was quite sure)
