Panasonic A350

    No it doesn't handle DTS.
    However....and this is a long shot and a bit techie.

    If you stick the firmware for the A310 into it ( the american model) it will according to details I read years ago. Unfortuantely the new firmware also disabled the RGB output ( the 310 not having one).

    But seeing as there were/are no mods that give you DTS no-one seemingly bothered making this available. Your best bet is to get another player for DTS. Unfortunate as the A350 is still a very capable player.

    Thanks for this - I didn't think it did.

    Like you said this is a very good player so I'll hold of the upgrade till DTS becomes standard on Region 2 discs.

    Does anyone now if this player can handle dts??

    I've hooked it up via dig coax to a sony strb940 and played gladiator dts but it doesn't work.

    Any help greatly appreciated.
