I have recently bought this machine and while trying to archive some of my videos to dvd i get wavy ghosty lines on the screen. Is this a fault with the machine or my scart cable as recording from the tv seems to be ok.

Are they commercial videos? If so it sounds like Macrovision and you'll need to get a lead to remove this.

Yes they are commercial videos. What sort of lead will get rid of the interference.A friend suggested trying a scart to s-video cable in stead of scart to scart.Any info would be brilliant.
