I bought a TX-P50VT50 in the Classifieds here 6 weeks ago and its just started displaying a multi-coloured band across the screen (see photo).

Has anyone else had this? Is it fixable, or have I bought a dud?

Thanks in advance for any advice (or sympathy).

Unplug, take the back off and make sure the orange connectors are seated correctly.

Mine has also done almost exactly the same as this recently but has disappeared recently (GT50). Should I do the same or not worry as it hasn't happened since?

My Vt50 does the same thing, think its a HDMI handshake issue.
I just change the input selection and then go back and the problem is fixed.
Only does it rarely so never have worried about it, maybe try a different HDMI cable.
