As the title says is the DVI input on my Panny 50PX60 HDCP Compliant?
It doesn't have a DVI connection only HDMI (x2), component, scart and VGA.
Thanks and my mistake So can I convert DVI to VGA?
Basically I have no spare HDMIs on my TV and getting Sky HD on Friday and am struggling to connect it. I was hoping to use an HDMI to DVI cable but this isn't going to work so can I use a DVI to VGA adapter? I assume it needs to be DVI-D?
SKY HD Outputs a Digital signal with HDCP encryption via HDMI.
You can 'convert' this to work with the HD15 (VGA) or 3RCA (Component) Analogue Inputs on your Display - though with the cost involved (Media Factory - Vision HDMI to Component converter) you would be better considering adding a suitable HDMI Switch to one of the HDMI sockets on your Display (Media Factory - Octava HDMI Switch, Distribution, Extender and Converters)
