panasonic 42pv500-denon2910 a good pairing?

    hi all, im am thinking of purchasing a denon 2910 to broadcast dvds on my new panasonic 42pv500 plasma via hdmi cable. does anyone know if this would be a good match , or have any views please advise,,,,
    also i am a bit miffed about hdmi is this capable of transmitting a progressive signal or is that only component....................cheers :lease:

    You may get more response by asking about each component in their dedicated forums, if both get good reviews then putting them together should provide satisfaction:)

    The 2910 has upscaling technology so matched with a HD Ready panel the need for progressive via component is a thing of the past.

    2910 sure does a good job via HDMI with my Pioneer 505XDE. Can't see why it wouldn't do the same with your plasma.
