Hi, wonder if you can help. I've recently purchased a Panasonic plasma TV + Tuner that has RBG component video outputs as well as HD and VD options.

I'd like to find out what's the best way to wire it all up in order to get the best picture. Perhaps someone would be kind enough to make a recommendation?

The TV has Red, Green and Blue RCE component sockets and they need to go to a tuner unit with the same RCE style connections. In addition the TV has 2 RCE style sockets to carry the HD and VD signal to the tuner. Can you suggest a connector(s) that would be suitable?

    Any assistance, much apprieciated.

    Thanks

The TUPTA300 has four AV inputs from memory and its outputs to the screen as RGB H and V. as it incorporates a progressice scan converter.

So plug vthe TU-PTA 3000 into the Plasma into the RGB H and V sockets. The Red Green and Blue cables are coloured and the H and V are not BUT you will know if they are the wrong way round.

I don't know the Sony DVD but check to se if it has RGB output via scart. If so connect it to the TU-PTA300 that way.

I would suggest that you connect all the audio via your Sony amp.

If you need more info, let me know.
