    I am strongly considering ordering one of these babies, but I won't until a few reviews have confirmed that it is as good as I think. I have been searching the web for days without finding one single review though :mad:

    Are there really no reviews yet?

    Yep, page 47.

    For:
    Breathtaking picture quality via HDMI;
    Gorgeous styling;
    Sounds good too.

    Against
    Absolutely nothing.

    Verdict:
    Pasasonics 42 inch viera is back, better and more desirable than ever. All you need now is to increase that credit limit.

    I suppose technically it's not a review of the 37pv500 but there you go.

    Bought the magazine today. Very good review, if the 37 inch model is exactly the same spec then its a winner. I am purcahsing the 37inch panasonic tommorrow all being well as i am ironing out the last few insecurities i am having with the plasma thing.

    I went to the Panasonic shop in Sheffield today to look again at the 500. The assistant gave me a demo of HD on the 500, using a Japanese box which I have never seen before. He showed me various demos of HD, including dark and light scenes. I was very impressed. The pictures were the very best I have ever seen on a plasma, with very sharp, fine detail. In fact its hard to see how the picture could be bettered.

    I am still waiting to see the new Samsungs expected this month before making a decsion, but if I go with a Samsung, then it will have to be on price, because I can't see how the picture could possibly be better than the 500.

    Still no reviews published on the Internet? I really need to read a couple of reviews before deciding. I will be forever grateful to the person that can find a full review for me :eek:

    I know this is not helping you with making up your mind but according to everyone on the forum they say not to trust the reviews in these sorta magazines!!! But because they are praising the panny no one says the usual not to be trusted comments. Just thought i would let u know that the advice u should be getting is to go see for yourself if u like this screen and try to compare it to the new high res samsung as at least on paper it is on par and for less money.
