I am keen to buy a smaller than 42" screen for my new flat, of those I've seen the Panasonic 37" looks to be the best. (my best net price of £2499)

Is it worth waiting for the 6-series? I'm not fussed about having a TV built-in as I use Freeview and run my PS2, DVD et al through a Scart switcher anyway. So I'd just use a JS Scart2RGB converter (thankyou forum users).

If the new 37" has a TV built might it be a Freeview set? It seems bizarre to me that in these £x000 that all the manufacturers are doing is including bog standard TV!!

Of course if anyone has anyother ideas for screens below 42" it'd be great to hear.

I don't think there's going to be a 37" version of the 6 series 42" will be the smallest

There will be a new 37", it will have a built in ANALOGUE tuner. That sounds a good price, and it's alovely little plasma, what make is your scart switch, there are issues with the lecktropaks one. Other than that, good setup.

Scart switcher is a Quintro+ which so far is proving a wonder!

You should be ok with that, used one once, just make sure RGB is enabled on everything before you connect the plasma, it's a right pickle if not! No RGB = no picture =no setup menu.....
