I have had the above television for a few years, and have happily used it on composite for digibox, and s-video for dvd.The RGB fault is well known and i have not bothered connecting it in that way,but i was messing around with the digibox and after selecting RGB there was no interference, just an incredible picture,(with some tweaking of the settings.I tried my dvd player but found said RGB fault.
i can't go back to using s-video so would like to know if the cure stated on various searches works.

The fix for the problem is to use a dvd with PAL colour bars(i assume DVEssentials-pal),and press the blue button in the service mode on the dvco setting.Has anyone tried this, and if it works does it screw the digibox up,or will that revert to it's own setting when that is switched on.

    Anyt help would be appreciated.Thanks.
