Just got one of these tvs for my room, and i dont know which to connect via the component.

At the moment the xbox uses the component socket.

My dvd player only has component output so just wanted to know whether it is good to get a "component into scart" lead.

can anyone help or advise on a decent component to scart cable or their suggestions on this setup?

ive found some on ebay for £10 - £50 :lease: help me

    thanks

    Hi

Anything will probably do - just make sure you don't buy one where the output cable is permanently attached - they are invariably crap.

It's also possible to use a standard cheap AV switch - one that has L+R audio / Composite Video (Red / White / Yellow phonos). You should be able to pick something up from Maplins or CPC for less than a tenner - add your own decent quality component leads and you will be fine.
