    Hello,

Over the weekend my WS Panasonic tv went a bit wrong...

I think the model number is 28...PL10(?). While watching the screen slowly started to lose colour and eventually the entire screen had a green cast over everything. I switched it off, waited a while, then switched it back on...still the same.

In the morning - I swtiched it on again - same colour cast but only for a few seconds then it turned back to normal (but the picture looked as if the brightness had been turned up a lot).

Any ideas what's wrong? Any ideas how much it will cost? I bought it 3 years ago from John Lewis and it came with a 5 year guarantee - hopefully the problem will be covered by this.

    Thanks for any comments.

    Matt

This will definately be covered by the JL guarantee.

Another example of why so many people recommend them. :lesson:

Just give them a call and it should all be painless.

Please report back on your experience, so we can all benefit.

    Good luck!

'Sounds' like symptoms of an intermittent short circuit around the electron 'guns' in the neck of the crt to me, as Tight Git says you are lucky to have the JL 5year warranty saving you a lot of expense. Regards, yt.
