Hi I posted the following in a different section of the forum without out much repsonse, probably because it was more about home cinema systems than seperate av receivers.

What sort of budget would be necessary to set-up a 5.1 surround sound system for my panasonic th37xp70 and dmrex77?
Im not really clued up much on what each amp is capable of. All I know is I have a spare HDMI port on my tv and dvd so I assume it would be best to buy an amp with HDMI also to take advantage of this.
Is it cheaper to buy an amp + speakers combi? Also, are wireless speakers any good, can they receive and play sounds as good as traditional wire connected speakers?
What websites would be best to use to compare suitable systems on?

I think what I could/should have bought instead of the dmrex77 is this all in one:

and then just get v+ box for tv recording
are these available to buy yet? shops says available 2008-01-08, is that next week or august 2008? not sure what date format that is

more importantly, is this system any good?
I'm undecided whether to go for the panasonic home cinema system SC-PT350WEB-S, or buy a seperate amp and speakers. the onkyo 505 is within my budget, is it really worth paying all that extra?
obviously if i got the panny option i'd return my dvdr and just get v+ installed.
decisions decisions, help!
