I have the above recorder, in use now for about 18 months now with no real issues until now.

The problem I have is that when I connect a sat receiver to AV2 I receive the picture fine but I get no audio at all.

If I disconnect the scart lead and feed it straight in to the tv it is fine.

I have hunted Hi & Lo through the settings but cannot find any settings linked to the audio input side.

Help I now getting very desperate, I have even thought of selecting the default settings mode, but will I lose all my titles stored on the hard drive????

No - You will not lose your recordings .. and if you have been fiddling with all your settings it is the first thing to try.

A mute line has possibly been enacted so power cycle the machine off and then back on.
