Palm tungsten E and Tom Tom

    Can anyone advise me what i need to go with Palm Tungsten E and TomTom navigator software? I got the software thinking it was a kit but all i got is the CD !! (Its to stop the missus getting lost)
    I will need a GPS receiver and some leads but havn't got a clue what suits the palm? Wife thinks i know everything so i need help.
    Can anyone give me a clue please?

    Have a search on these sites for the hardware. You basically need a GPS receiver and cables to link it to the Palm. You also need a cradle to hold the palm so that you can see it and a car charger would be useful. Why not send the CD back and exchange it for a kit, makles life a lot easier.

    Thanks for the leads.
    The Widget website says the Via Michelin Navigation pack is compatible with the Tungsten E but the actual Via michelin website does not list the E as suitable.

    This is really annoying.

    MapSonic requires 8mb free memory to work effectively in, what size is the E?
    Also does the E have a Palm universal socket? That might make the difference between compatibility and non compatibility.
    If Widget say that it is compatible and it turns out not to be then I would suggest that you have every right to return the item and claim a full refund. Keep a copy of the web site page as proof.
