WE seem to be pre-occupied with Pal Prog.

Is it going to be the best thing since .......

Will it be better than NTSC?

Am I correct in my thinking that if you want Prog Scan now then buy Region Disks and a Tosh 510 or 520.

Get my drift, what all the fuss when you can already buy the region 1 disk with NTSC with Prog Scan.

Or have I gone raving mad?

Although I've 'seen the light' & rarely buy PAL discs (unless they are HKL). I still have a large amount of R2/4 discs.
So yes, I will be looking for a PAL prog capable player next. (I have a PDP that supports it)

As to whether it's better; That will have to be decided on a disc by disc basis - is the PAL disc better? In my experience, usually not.
