Do all DVDs these days have the ability to be played back in progressive scan, or only certain ones?

If its only certain ones, does the back of the DVD case have a little prog scan logo or something?

    Thanks.

What about tv shows (shot on interlaced video) and 4x3? I heard you can only view these progressive with a de-interlacer.

Correct, not all are necessarily PS, mostly only film material.
I am not aware of any logo or indication for PS though.
