Hi,
I am about to take delivery of a 32" CRT (Panny TX32PD30), which has component inputs and supports progressive scan.
My current DVD player is a 2 year old Pioneer DV-444 which has served well. I am considering upgrading to something with component connections and possibly progressive scan. BTW, my DVD collection is exclusively R2 and PAL.
I understand that component should give a better picture than RGB, but what about progressive scan on PAL material? Will I notice THAT much improvement compared with interaced on a 32" screen?
Comments/thoughts welcome...
