Which do you prefer? PAL progressive scan (576p) or NTSC progressive scan (480p)?

    Why?

Sorry to say this but you do seem to have a love for some pretty pointless polls.

This is all very well as a question, but in what context?

    On which playing device?

    On which display device?

    From which media?

    From which software?

I can't believe you get anything useful from these types of poll.

Are you a very long way from any video/hifi stores and unable to look at and form opinions about these things yourself?...I would highly recommend that you go and have a look at the difference for yourself and decide which YOU think is better rather than relying on our opinions.

p.s. I voted for PAL prog as it has more lines, but ask me again tomorrow and I might change my mind.

    Regards,

    Ian Guinan

    pointless.

what's your favourite colour? I like orange personally,
but with no common point of reference, my choice is meaningless.

with so many variables, this is impossible.

as in the song, "you say potato, I say potatoe".
    :)
